Will you charge my tenants' cards automatically?

No. Autopay isn't turned on in this product yet — invoices generate on schedule and tenants can pay them online, but nothing pulls a saved card without you doing it. We're not asking you to trust it with real money before it's ready.

Does the gate lock or unlock itself?

It can, once your gate is wired up — and most facilities aren't yet. A code is minted and assigned to every tenant the moment they check in, online or at the counter, and it's emailed to them automatically as part of their move-in welcome, so nobody has to hand it over. Whether that code ever reaches a physical gate depends entirely on whether your hardware is connected; at a facility with no gate integration, nothing here is opening or closing a door. Where a gate IS wired, though, our delinquency ladder can act on its own: it locks a tenant out automatically once they cross a stage you configure (the starting rule is 20 days past due) and restores access the moment they pay, with no staff member in the loop either way. Those rules — including whether lockout runs at all — are yours to change per facility.

Can someone rent a unit without anyone at the counter?

Yes. They pick a size, get a prorated quote for today's date, e-sign your own lease template, and pay by card — all from their phone, any hour. The signed lease, the payment, and a gate code are waiting in your console before you open up.

What happens when a tenant falls behind on rent?

A late-fee and notice ladder runs on its own clock — five days late gets a different notice than forty-five. The starting rules are yours to change per facility. Filing an actual lien or running an auction stays something you do, on your state's clock, not the software.

Can I see reports across all my facilities, or just one?

Both. Over 40 built-in reports — payment register, delinquent rentals, vacant units, revenue by period, and the rest — run over one facility or every facility you have access to, and export as CSV or PDF. Rent roll, occupancy by unit type, and AR aging are single-facility only and don't export yet.

Can I bring my tenant and unit data over from what I use now?

Yes — upload a CSV of your customers, map the columns yourself, and preview exactly what will be created before anything commits. If the file lists a unit for each tenant, we build the matching unit and unit-type records as part of the same import.

Can I use my own domain for my facility's website?

Yes. Every facility gets a real, server-rendered storefront out of the box, and you can point your own domain at it — it serves from there instead of ours.

If a tenant asks to move out through the portal, does it happen right away?

No. That's a request, not an event — nothing about the unit, the tenant's status, or the gate changes until you accept it in the console. A tenant can take the request back themselves if their plans change.
